Chattanooga Reception

Our Chattanooga area reception will be held in Ooltewah, TN, which is a small town just outside of Chattanooga, TN. We planned this event in order to make travel less of a barrier for our friends and family on the east side of the country. (Apologies to those in other regions – we wish we could have a party everywhere!)

PLEASE NOTE OUR CHANGE IN START TIME.

We are starting at 2 pm instead of 1 pm to give a bit more time to the folks who hold services at the church Sunday morning. We plan to have a general flow of events (see below), but if you are not able to stay the whole time, please feel free to arrive and leave whenever works for your schedule. We want this time to be as accessible as possible! We will have finger food, cake and games. Please come, hang out with us and have fun together! Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

DESCRIPTION

Come enjoy finger food, CAKE!, photos, and some lawn and group games. The reception will be indoors, with games both inside and on the lawn outside. Come at 2 pm to say hello and eat some snacks, and then we will have a brief program starting at 2:30. Following, there will be an open mic and some competition judging. ;) (Spoiler - there will be prizes!) For the rest of the time we want to play, chat, and eat with you! Feel free to bring your own games as well and a picnic blanket or lawn chairs. We are excited to hang out with you!

What should I wear??

Whatever you want! We will wear our wedding dress and suit for the fun of it, because we can! And you should wear whatever you'd like. If you want to dress up cuz it's fun, don't worry, you won't be over dressed because we will be dressed up too! If you want to wear your everyday comfy jeans, please do. Please be comfortable.

Travel and lodging

Chattanooga (CHA) is the closest airport to fly into. Atlanta (ATL) and Nashville (BNA) are the closest major airports.
